" A dream is a wish your heart makes," or so the song tells us. But dreams have many different messages for us. Some dreams replay events from the day before. Other dreams predict future events, or tell us where something special can be found.

There are other dreams that show the dreamer on a long trip, meeting many new people, and solving problems. Or sometimes a dream returns a lost loved person to us again.

The most important thing about your dreams is that they are personal, unique and special to you. The messages from a dream can be examined and considered in the light of day. Other people, friends, family members, and partners all have dreams too. It's often fun to share your dreams with people who are close to you. But always remember this, if anyone interprets your dream in a way that makes you feel bad, ignore it, and assume that they are wrong. It's your dream, isn't it? Your dreams are messages from your unconscious, sleeping mind. You're supposed to remember them, and try to understand them. The first thing to do is keeps a dream book or diary, maybe next to your bed. You can write down your dreams as soon as you wake up. Don't put off writing down your dreams until later, because dreams are easily forgotten during our busy days. Keep on recording your dreams for a few months. Then you can look back through your dream diary. Do you see any connections, or any theme that repeats itself? Did any of your dream predict something that really happened to you? What feelings keep occurring in your dreams? Any new ideas, or situations? Keep on reviewing your dream diary, because you never know what your dreams tell you.
